With the win, Winfield upgrades its record to 17-13 on the season. The Pirates host Oakman (Oakman, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Area 10 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-10.

With the defeat, Fayette County falls to 8-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL) to battle the Lions in a 4A Area 12 test on Monday, April 4. The Lions come into the test with a record of 9-11. Haleyville won 22-11 in their recent non-league test against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL)
