In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Shelley Russets baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Firth Cougars.
The Russets (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Preston (Preston, ID). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Preston ran past Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID), 13-2, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Challis (Challis, ID). The Vikings go into the Freelance game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Challis was overwhelmed by Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID), 10-3, in a non-league game.
