The Sidwell Friends Quakers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Landon Bears to 2 in the Quakers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Quakers (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers go into the Mid-Atlantic-MAC match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Georgetown Day was overwhelmed by Flint Hill (Oakton, VA), 3-1, in a league match.
The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD). The Little Hoyas go into the Interstate Athletic match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Georgetown Prep edged Inspiration Academy (Bradenton, FL), 7-6, in a non-league match.
