    The Elgin Maroons held off the visiting Larkin Royals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

    The Maroons now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntley for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. Elgin will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

    The Royals (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams enter the Upstate 8 test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Glenbard East was nudged by Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
