The Schaumburg Saxons held off the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Saxons now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oswego for a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. Schaumburg will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Joliet West was nudged by Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
