New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT), 14-1 in a non-league battle.
The Green Wave now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newtown for a South West outing on Thursday, April 7.
With the defeat, Wolcott drops to 0-1 on the season. The Eagles host Bristol Central (Bristol, CT) to battle the Rams in a non-league outing on Monday, April 4. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
