Bloomington South Panthers (Bloomington, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edgewood for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Bloomington South will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Columbus East falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Brownstown Central lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN)
