Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) and the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), witnessed Farmington's softball squad prevail over Sandia by a count of 12-2.

The Scorpions now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sandia for a 5A District 2 match on Saturday, April 2. Farmington will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Sandia moves to 6-6 on the season. The Matadors host Farmington (Farmington, NM) to meet the Scorpions in a 5A District 2 match on Saturday, April 2.
