The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) and the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), saw Washington's softball squad achieve victory over Hampshire by a count of 15-0.

The Patriots now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hedgesville for a Eastern Panhandle match on Monday, April 4. Washington will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Hampshire falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Musselman (Inwood, WV) to face the Applemen in a non-league match on Monday, April 4. The Applemen enter the match with a record of 1-5.
