The Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) softball routed the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 17-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Railroaders (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers go into the 3A North - West bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, North Valleys toppled Truckee (Truckee, CA), 13-1, in a league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host South Tahoe for a 3A North - West bout on Friday, April 15. Hug will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 26-8 league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
