Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) and the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), witnessed La Serna's softball squad tip St. Paul by a count of 4-0.

The Lancers now sport a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Rosary Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. La Serna will meet a Royals squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Royals record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, St. Paul moves to 12-8 on the season. The Swordsmen travel to Downey (Downey, CA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Downey won 16-0 in their recent league bout against Paramount (Paramount, CA)
