New Mexico High School Softball - Los Alamos bounces Taos

The Los Alamos Hilltoppers routed the host Taos Tigers softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Saturday's league battle.

The Hilltoppers (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Robertson notched a victory over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 11-9, in a league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pojoaque Valley for a 4A District 2 battle on Wednesday, April 6. Taos will confront a Elks/Elkettes squad coming off a 17-7 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 6-9.
