The Mooreville Troopers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Nettleton Tigers to 5 in the Troopers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Mooreville moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Troopers host Pisgah (Sandhill, MS) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Saturday, April 2. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 13-3. Pisgah won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a 3A Region 4 game, on Thursday, April 7. Nettleton will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 15-2 record after their 8-6 league win over Amory (Amory, MS).
