In Sunday's non-league test, the host Hillcrest Rams lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Eastside Eagles.
The Rams now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asheville for a non-league match on Sunday, April 2. Hillcrest will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, St. Joseph's Catholic was tipped by Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC), 7-3, in a non-league match.
