The Ore City Rebels baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Avery Bulldogs to 0 in the Rebels non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rebels (14-3) will now prepare for their match against Maud (Maud, TX). The Cardinals go into the 2A Region III District 17 match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Maud ran past Bowie (Simms, TX), 4-3, in a league match.

The Bulldogs (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers go into the 1A Region III District 17 match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Linden-Kildare ran past Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 13-3, in a league match.
