The Liberty Minutemen the host Floyd County Buffaloes baseball team by a count of 8-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Minutemen now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson Forest for a Seminole bout on Tuesday, April 9. Liberty will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-0.

Next, the Buffaloes face the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers bout, on Thursday, April 4. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 0-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).
