In Tuesday's league game, the host Willamette Wolverines baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Grants Pass Cavemen.
The Wolverines (7-2) will now prepare for their game against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado go into the 6A Southwest game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, North Medford tipped South Eugene (Eugene, OR), 8-7, in a league game.
