The Pleasant Grove Hawks baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting North Lamar Panthers to 2 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks (15-7) will now prepare for their match against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region II District 15 match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Pittsburg was overwhelmed by Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX), 18-3, in a league match.

The Panthers (9-15) will now prepare for their match against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region II District 15 match with a 6-17 record. In their last match, Sulphur Springs gained a win over Paris (Paris, TX), 12-6, in a league match.
