The El Modena Vanguards lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Lynwood Knights to 2 in the Vanguards non-league win on Tuesday.

The Vanguards (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Tillers go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Tustin was overwhelmed by Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA), 13-7, in a non-league match.

The Knights (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Newport Harbor was overwhelmed by Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 10-9, in a league match.
