Russellville Cyclones (Russellville, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Alma Airedales (Alma, AR), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Cyclones now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarksville for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. Russellville will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 26-14 league win over Ozark (Ozark, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Alma falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Airedales host Van Buren (Van Buren, AR) to battle the Pointers in a 5A West challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Pointers enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
