The Austin Packers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Byron Bears to 6 in the Packers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Austin moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Packers host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, April 5. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) in a Hiawatha Valley game, on Monday, April 8. Byron will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
