Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 5. Bel Air will battle a Conquistadores squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Horizon falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to battle the Matadors in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Matadors enter the challenge with a record of 15-14. Parkland won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Hanks (El Paso, TX)
