The Independence Knights softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Centennial Titans to 11 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Independence moves its record to 3-12 on the year. The Knights travel to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Friday, April 5. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 27-2. Walnut Grove won 6-5 in their recent league game against Emerson (McKinney, TX)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 game, on Friday, April 5. Centennial will attempt to move on its 5-19 season record. The Redhawks come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 5-4 league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX).
