The Mustangs now sport a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gladewater for a 3A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, April 5. Hughes Springs will face a Bears squad coming off a 17-3 league loss to New Diana (Diana, TX). The Bears record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Daingerfield falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sabine (Gladewater, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a 3A Region II District 15 test on Friday, April 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 14-12. Sabine lost 6-1 in their recent league test against White Oak (White Oak, TX)
