Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) and the host Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN), witnessed Daniel Boone's softball squad tip Science Hill by a count of 8-2.

The Trailblazers now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sullivan East for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Daniel Boone will face a Patriots squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Science Hill moves to 4-3 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN) to face the Indians in a 4A District 1 match on Wednesday, April 3. The Indians go into the match with a record of 5-2. Dobyns-Bennett lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN)
