The DeSoto Central Jaguars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Oxford Chargers to 0 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, DeSoto Central improves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Patriots in a 7A Region 1 game on Thursday, April 4. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 17-4. Lewisburg won 14-0 in their recent league game against Southaven (Southaven, MS)

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) in a 7A Region 1 game, on Thursday, April 4. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 17-5 record after their 17-0 league win over Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS).
