The DeWitt Dragons softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Drew Central Pirates to 2 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, DeWitt improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to Warren (Warren, AR) to encounter the Lumberjacks in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Lumberjacks enter the test with a record of 6-4. Warren won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Fordyce (Fordyce, AR)

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Smackover (Smackover, AR). The Buckaroos enter the 3A Region 8 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Smackover prevailed over Junction City (Junction City, AR), 10-0, in a non-league test.
