Elba Tigers (Elba, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pleasant Home Eagles (Andalusia, AL), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pike County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. Elba will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Pleasant Home falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Florala (Florala, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A Area 2 challenge on Monday, April 8. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-12. Florala lost 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Elba (Elba, AL)
