The South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) softball the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Sauras (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against West Stokes (King, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, West Stokes held off East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

The Buckin' Elks now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host North Stokes for a Northwest 1A bout on Friday, April 5. Elkin will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-7.
