Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) and the visiting Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR), witnessed Rison's softball squad prevail over Glen Rose by a count of 17-6.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Star City for a non-league match on Thursday, April 4. Rison will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Crossett (Crossett, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Glen Rose moves to 5-6 on the season. The Beavers host Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to face the Knights in a 3A Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Knights go into the match with a record of 3-9. Centerpoint lost 15-4 in their recent league match against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR)
