The Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ulysses for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Hugoton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Goodland falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Garden City (Garden City, KS) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Garden City won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North (Wichita, KS)
