Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (Graham, WA), 10-8 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Kitsap for a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Wednesday, April 3. Sumner will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Graham-Kapowsin falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA) to face the Wolves in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. South Kitsap won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA)
