Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Cavemen now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host North Medford for a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Willamette falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host North Medford (Medford, OR) to face the Black Tornado in a 6A Southwest challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Black Tornado enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. North Medford won 9-0 in their recent league challenge against South Eugene (Eugene, OR)
