The Ingleside Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Jones Trojans to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Ingleside improves its record to 24-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX) to clash with the Sandcrabs in a 4A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, April 5. The Sandcrabs come into the game with a record of 9-7. Calhoun won 13-0 in their recent league game against Jones (Beeville, TX)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 game, on Friday, April 5. Jones will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 1-12 record after their 13-2 league win over West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX).
