Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 15-6 in a league challenge.

The Gladiators now own a 10-13 record. They take the field next when they host Nixon for a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Friday, April 5. Roma will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Juarez-Lincoln falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Huskies host Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX) to battle the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a record of 13-9. Rio Grande City won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Nixon (Laredo, TX)
