California High School Softball - Laughlin thwarted by Needles

The Laughlin Cougars softball team (Laughlin, NV), was routed 19-0 in Tuesday's league test with the host Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA)

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 9. Needles will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Banning (Banning, CA).

The Cougars (3-10) will now prepare for their test against White Pine (Ely, NV). The Bobcats come into the 2A- Southern test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, White Pine overcame Lincoln County (Panaca, NV), 14-11, in a league test.
