Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Brockton for a 3A Area 3 challenge on Thursday, April 4. Straughn will battle a Gamecocks squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Eufaula (Eufaula, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Pike County falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Elba (Elba, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Elba won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL)
