Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) and the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), witnessed Ponaganset's softball squad prevail over South Kingstown by a count of 10-0.

The Chieftains now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Narragansett for a Division 2 match on Thursday, April 4. Ponaganset will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Mariners record now stands at 0-1.
