The Wesson Cobras softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Port Gibson Blue Waves to 0 in the Cobras league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Wesson moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Cobras host Florence (Florence, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 5. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 15-6. Florence won 4-1 in their recent league game against South Jones (Ellisville, MS)

In their next game, the Blue Waves clash with the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) in a 3A Region 7 game, on Thursday, April 4. Port Gibson will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 16-6 league loss to Franklin County (Meadville, MS).
