Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Purple Devils now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winterboro for a 1A Area 10 game on Thursday, April 4. Ragland will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-8.

In their next game, the Fighting Tigers clash with the Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL) in a 1A Area 10 game, on Thursday, April 4. Talladega County Central will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Conquerors come into the game with a 3-9 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL).
