The Buccaneers now sport a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coral Gables for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 3. South Dade will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Homestead (Homestead, FL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Varela falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Vipers host Coral Park (Miami, FL) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Coral Park won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Edison (Miami, FL)
