The Newcomerstown Trojans (Newcomerstown, OH) baseball trounced the host Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH), 8-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgewood for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Newcomerstown will clash with a Generals team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH). The Generals record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Buckeye Trail drops to 2-2 on the year. The Warriors host Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH) to clash with the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Seminoles go into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
