The Platte County Pirates baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Chrisman Bears to 3 in the Pirates non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Park for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. Platte County will play a Northmen team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO). The Northmen record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Chrisman drops to 1-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Raytown South (Raytown, MO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-4. Raytown South lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Truman (Independence, MO)
