Ohio High School Baseball - Green defeats Clay

In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Green Bobcats baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Clay Panthers.
The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH). The Flyers go into the Southern Ohio I game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, St. Joseph Central was overwhelmed by Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH), 12-9, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Glenwood Tigers (New Boston, OH) in a Southern Ohio I game, on Monday, April 7. Clay will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 27-2 non-league loss to South Gallia (Crown City, OH).
