The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) and the visiting Copley Indians (Copley, OH), saw Parkersburg South's baseball team gain a win over Copley by a tally of 2-0.
The Patriots (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, John Marshall held off University (Morgantown, WV), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Indians face the Triway Titans (Wooster, OH) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 4. Copley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Norwayne (Creston, OH).
