The North Middlesex Regional Patriots baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders to 0 in the Patriots non-league win on Wednesday.

The Patriots now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hudson for a Midland-Wachusett B test on Friday, April 4. North Middlesex Regional will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Fitchburg drops to 0-1 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Watertown (Watertown, MA) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-2. Watertown lost 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Lexington (Lexington, MA)
