In Wednesday's league game, the host Jackson Polar Bears baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Green Bulldogs.
The Polar Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Pickerington Central nudged Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 9-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 4. Green will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Aviators go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH).
