Illinois High School Baseball - Lockport nips Joliet West

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Lockport Porters baseball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Joliet West Tigers.
The Porters (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Minooka nudged Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 11-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Joliet West will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Gatewood (Eatonton, GA).
