The North Caroline Bulldogs baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colonel Richardson for a Bayside - North test on Friday, April 4. North Caroline will play a Colonels team coming off a 9-4 league loss to St. Michaels (St. Michaels, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Kent Island drops to 2-2 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 4-0. Cape Henlopen won 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Delmar (Delmar, DE)
