The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) and the host Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM), saw Magdalena's baseball team gain a win over Oak Grove Classical Academy by a tally of 14-4.
The Steers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Lordsburg was overwhelmed by Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 24-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Owls face the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Oak Grove Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The SonBlazers enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 17-3 non-league loss to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM).
